1999 35” x 123 x 73 edition of 6 bronze castings
Nancy was a bronze edition of six castings and was commissioned by a collector in San Antonio for his private collection. He had seen a smaller sculpture Phelps had done of a woman in a bathtub. He envisioned the female figure double life-size with out the bathtub. The sold out edition is in public and private collections across the United States including St Louis, Missouri; Lake Tahoe; Ardmore, Oklahoma. An interesting development occurred when the President of St. Louis University bought Nancy for the campus. He had her installed at a recreational pool on campus. READ MORE HERE
